About the challenge
Welcome to GenHacks, a virtual hackathon for students. We started GenHacks to inspire people to build new things, whatever their experience. Whether this is your first hackathon or your tenth, you're welcome here.
Build a software or hardware project from anywhere between November 1 and December 26, 2026. Work alone or with a team of any size.
Tracks
- Healthcare & Environmental. Does your project affect people's health and wellbeing, or the environment?
- Robotics & IoT. Does your project use hardware?
- AI, Agentic Systems, Cybersecurity, and Dev Tools. Does your project integrate AI, or make software more secure?
- Open. If your project doesn't fit the tracks above, this is the track for you.
